About Adirondack Mechanical Contractors

At the heart of Adirondack Mechanical is the Kladis Family, bringing more than 31 years of Plumbing experience into the company. Company President Bob Kladis, today a Licensed New York City Master Plumber & Master Fire Suppression Contractor, began his career in Plumbing at the age of 13 and joined the Plumbers Union in 1974. During these next several years, while New York City began the Section 8 housing projects, Bob worked on many apartment rehabilitation projects. It was quickly apparent that Bob had a talent for executing these large scale projects and as time went on he found himself serving as job foreman. In 1981, Bob went into business for himself, incorporating under the name F.R.F. Plumbing & Heating, Inc. serving as a Union Plumbing Contractor. In 1994, the company name was changed to Adirondack Mechanical Contractors, Inc. Today Bob is joined by his Eldest son, Rob Kladis, and Adirondack Mechanical employs Union Plumbers & Pipefitters, many of whom are long term valued employees of more than 20 years. Our General Foreman, Tony Sa, has been an integral part of the Adirondack Mechanical team for nearly 25 years.
